Remee - The REM Enhancing Lucid Dreaming Mask
What would you do if you could control your dreams? Have you ever been able to control a dream while being in it? Remee is a new dreaming mask, developed by Bitganger Labs, that is supposed to help you to do just that!
lu·cid dreaming:
Experienced with the dreamer feeling awake, aware of dreaming, and able to control events consciously.
Remee is a Kickstarter project that has gone viral. Their goal was to get $35.000, however, due to the massive attention, they're well over $450.000 and over 5100 "backers" (contributors).
These dreaming masks has built-in red LEDs that will switch on an off during your sleep to help you to lucid dream. The way they are described to work seem legit. You're supposed to practice the fact that whenever you see those red lights flashing in front of you while sleeping, you should be aware that you are sleeping and have a chance to take control of that dream.

You must know that these dream masks won't make you lucid dream every single night. Lucid dreaming takes much practice, and as mentioned earlier; you have to remember that the red flashing light are not a part of the dream itself, but something that tries to tell you that you are dreaming.
So, don't be disappointed if you don't lucid dream the first night.
Remee also lets you customize your dream mask to make it fit your personal preferences.
Final thoughts:
The Remee dream mask seems totally legit by the way it is described to work. The Kickstarter price is $80 (+$15 for international shipping) which seems like a decent price, especially since they're planning to have the retail price at somewhere between $95 and $100 (without shipping).
I'm a backer!
I've decided to be a backer of this project and I am really excited to try these out. I will come back with a review after I've gotten to try them out for a few days.
